A new exhibition is coming to the Canadian War Museum this Thursday, reflecting the events of V.E. Day and what has unfolded 80 years later. ‘The Last Voices of the Second World War’ captures the chilling stories of those who served Canada during that poisonous global conflict, and how they managed to rebuild their lives after returning from the battlefield. From the war’s shrinking list of remaining survivors, to the growing list of soldiers who have since passed on, this exhibit is for all of them. Teresa Iacobelli is a PhD, a historian, and one of the project’s co-curators. She joins Andrew Pinsent on CFRA Live.
