We talk a lot about empowering young women, but what does it take to turn someone’s potential into an actual opportunity? The EmpowaHer Leadership Summit is bringing together 200 emerging women leaders, aged 18 to 35, from South Africa and across the continent. Taking place in Johannesburg from 29 to 31 October under the theme “The Future Is Female”, it focuses on developing women through mentorship, education, career opportunities, entrepreneurship and professional networks.
Joining Karabo in studio is Londiwe Mncube, Chief Human Resources Officer at the Competition Commission of South Africa, and Chiazalam Thandiwe Ehirim, a Biomedical Science student at the University of Johannesburg and an EmpowaHer nominee.
