Today on the show we invite Sandisiwe Nabo-Bazana to talk about social anxiety. How can I tell if I have social anxiety, or I'm just nervous, or shy? How common is it? And what kind of therapies could help with it?
Sandisiwe Nabo-Bazana has a masters degree both in Counselling Psychology and in Research Psychology from Rhodes University and the University of Fort Hare. She has vast experience with community liaison, researching and lecturing and her area of interest is working towards the development of communities.
She has obtained experience in research topics that relate to societal issues from investigating the role of Psychology in rural areas, to human trafficking and mental health awareness in rural areas and an advocate for social justice.
