Simamkele Tutsheni is a 24-year-old boxer from the Eastern
Cape who now trains in Cape Town and is undefeated in her
professional career. She started boxing by chance during lockdown,
rose quickly through the ranks, became the IBO Africa junior champion, and is now preparing to fight for a world title in Poland
this March, a historic moment as one of the only South African
women contending at that level.
