Today we are marking International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
And instead of just talking about the stats, we wanted to speak to someone who is actually living this reality every single day.
Brenda Marx is a scientist who has built her career in a space that is still largely male dominated. She is passionate about research, education, and opening doors for young women who want to step into science but might not always see themselves represented there.
We sat down with Brenda earlier to talk about her journey, the challenges she has faced, what needs to change, and what advice she has for young girls who are curious about the world and maybe dreaming about a future in science.
