Federal Politics Editor Michael Pachi joined Jason Matthews on 4BC Mornings to criticise the current parliamentary expense guidelines that allow politicians to charge taxpayers for sporting events and international trips.

They argue that both the Prime Minister and the Opposition are failing to show leadership by refusing to overhaul rules that clearly do not meet community standards.
