Moreton Bay Council is defending a landmark Supreme Court case that challenges its right to issue compliance notices to homeless individuals camping in public parks.

Mayor Peter Flannery joined Ben Davis on 4BC Mornings to warn that losing this case could set a precedent stripping local governments across Australia of the power to enforce basic laws regarding safety and public land use.
