Logan City Council is set to vote on a major policy overhaul that will slash the number of local properties flagged in official flood mapping by 56.8%.
Following over 4,000 public submissions, Mayor Jon Raven joined Gary Hardgrave on 4BC Mornings and confirmed the council is abandoning extreme "probable maximum flood" models to return to standard 1% annual chance flood guidelines while boosting local drainage maintenance.
