Emeritus Professor of Medicine Timothy Florin joined Gary Hardgrave on 4BC Mornings to warn that Australia’s current reliance on wind and solar power for base load electricity is failing to substantially reduce carbon emissions while inflicting massive environmental and economic damage.

He argued that Australia must abandon current ideological constraints and look to nuclear power as a vastly superior, scientific solution to achieve a low-carbon grid without destroying essential local industries.
