Following the Brisbane Lions’ historic three-peat victory at the MCG, content creator Lachie Carter from Those Carter Boys joined Gary Hargrave on 4BC Mornings to describe the extreme chaos of having his return flight cancelled and being forced to pay over $2,000 for last-minute Qantas tickets to reach the NRLW preliminary final in Robina.

The segment highlighted the logistical nightmares and severe price-gouging faced by footy fans travelling across Australia for finals weekend, comparing airfare surcharges to soaring petrol and electricity costs.
