It's been a big week politically. For the Sunday Breakdown, Carla is joined by Nines Chief Political Editor, Charles Croucher. From a tough week for the Government on the legislation passing front, to Albo’s stacked overseas itinerary as part of “World Summit Season” despite pledging to focus on domestic issues. Charles gives his take of the big issues.

Karen joins Carla to tell us more about how she got the role and what else she gets up to in her life - including a vibrant musical career!

In Local issues today: Hemmant Equine’s HEART program is dedicated to providing affordable and inclusive access to horse orientated activities, all in order to promote the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of all young people of all ages and abilities. Co-director of HEART Renee Commins joins Carla to explain more about this program and what the horses also get out of it.

Elsewhere on the show: Local business owner Lola Bowden joins live in studio to talk about her Bulimba-based business, LoloPops Baby Gifts. Lola talks about her journey as a small business owner, from her beginnings during COVID to her networking project to connect more women in small business to each other.
