Last week on the program, we spoke about how changes to social media access were leading some parents to book their kids into outdoor activities like fishing charters. But more broadly, there’s growing concern that fewer Australian kids are spending time outside—or taking part in sport at all.

New insights suggest a mix of social, technological, and lifestyle factors could be driving that shift. To unpack it all, Burty spoke with Associate Professor Vince Kelly from QUT.
