The Sunshine Coast Council has reported a staggering 73 incidents of aggression and violence toward staff this year, forcing the deployment of security guards and body-worn cameras to protect frontline workers.
Australian Services Union's Tom Rivers confirmed with Gary Hardgrave that this is part of a disturbing state-wide trend, pleading for the public to show 'a little bit of kindness' to essential service providers who are simply trying to do their jobs.
