The Pier to Pub, an annual open water swim event held in Victoria will be celebrating the 45th anniversary this Saturday.

The largest open water swim in Australia attracts thousands of participants who swim 1.2 kilometres from Lorne Pier to the Lorne Surf Life Saving Club.

Paris Olympian and first-time Pier to Pub swimmer Sam Short joined Shane Doherty on 4BC Summer Drive to discuss the event.
