Federal member for Bowman, Henry Pike joined Gary Hardgrave to discuss two issues concerning Australia's national identity: the proposal to legally cement January 26 as Australia Day and a complex native title claim in the Redlands area of Brisbane. 

Pike argued for a national vote on Australia Day's date to remove it from political debate and expressed concern over the native title claim's impact on public spaces and taxpayer funds.
