Former RBA economist Adam Crichton warned that surging government spending and a "dunce cap" energy policy have left Australia with the highest inflation in the developed world.
He argued that without a radical shift toward productivity and growth, young Australians face a future of dwindling living standards similar to the long-term decline of Argentina.
