Over 20,000s clinical trials have happened in Australia in the past two decades with research showing that 79 per cent of Aussies would consider getting involved in one.

Evrima Technologies Founder and CEO Charlotte Bradshaw told Shane Doherty on 4BC Summer Drive, "Every single clinical trial goes through an independent ethics committee and we're all governed by what's called good clinical practice."

"There are so many regulatory and quality controls that go into clinical trials naturally because of patient safety."

"We don't want to put anyone in harm's way," Ms Bradshaw said.
