Former Rowing Queensland CEO Murray Stewart joined Dean & Sofie on 4BC Breakfast to push back against Deputy Premier Jarrod Bleijie's ultimatum that Olympic rowing must be held in Rockhampton.
He argued that while Rockhampton can host the Games in winter, the course is prone to flooding during the summer wet season, making it unusable for local athletes year-round.
