Queensland registration fees are about to increase by 3.4 per cent in the new financial year, which is above Brisbane's current CPI rate of just over 2.5 per cent.
Queensland Shadow Treasurer Shannon Fentiman told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "I can't believe not only have they cut the 20% discount for rego, as you've said, they've actually slugged us with a 3.4% increase, which is more than inflation."
