Leaked confidential documents reveal that the Palaszczuk government disregarded explicit Crown Law warnings that the CFMEU’s "Best Practice Industry Conditions" (BPIC) were legally risky and potentially illegal.

The controversial conditions, which have now been scrapped by the new government, are estimated to have added hundreds of millions to labor costs while slowing down critical Olympic-deadline projects.
