Senator James McGrath joined Jason Matthews on 4BC Breakfast to condemn Victorian Labor and Melbourne's Lord Mayor for trying to move tennis and rowing events out of Queensland for the 2032 Olympic Games.

He argued that Queensland earned the hosting rights and emphasised that crucial infrastructure investments - like the $113 million upgrade to Tennyson - will benefit local youth and keep the Games firmly in the Sunshine State.
