'False sense of security': New Bribie Island breakthrough puts waterfront locals 'on edge'

A second breakthrough has torn through the northern tip of Bribie Island.

A new channel wide enough for boats has been carved through the island, raising serious concerns about erosion, wildlife, and the safety of nearby coastal communities.
