2024 was a massive year for Brisbane, with openings to Queen's Wharf and the Kangaroo Point Green Bridge, with an even bigger 2025 on the horizon.

Brisbane will ring in the New Year with the Lord Mayor's New Year's Eve Fireworks at South Bank. 

Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner told Dean Miller on Summer Breakfast, "There's a little bit of rain around, but that won't stop the fireworks."

"There's a lot on the go this new year," the Lord Mayor continued.
