At 8:15pm on June 26 emergency services were called to an address on Oriel Road in Clayfield following reports of a stabbing at a house party involving a large group of teenagers.
This morning a 15-year-old Clayfield boy - who was known to the man - has been charged with murder.
Acting Assistant Commissioner Rhys Wildman told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "There was an organised event arranged through social media, about 20 to 30 young people were in attendance at that address when this incident unfolded."
"I can tell you now that there are no other suspects."
