John Middlekauff reacts to the Miami Hurricanes defeating the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in their Week 1 matchup. John applauds Miami head coach Mario Cristobal for sustaining the lead when Notre Dame was rallying in the 4th quarter, and believes this early test against the Fighting Irish will bode well for Miami this season in the ACC. Next, John welcomes Jackson Groff to discuss Notre Dame’s outlook for the rest of the season. John then reacts to Alabama’s loss to Florida State and what that means for head coach Kalen DeBoer. John also applauds Florida State head coach Mike Norvell for getting a big time win after a forgettable season for the Seminoles last year. John wraps up debating whether some college football coaches should be on the “hot seat” after Week 1 due to their large buyout contracts.
