John answers listener questions in his weekend Mailbag, including the NFL’s shift from valuing draft picks to trading for proven stars, if Nick Sirianni giving up play calling is a problem, which new Niners players could make an impact, if PGA golfers should be getting crushed for taking shady LIV Golf cash, if the Packers offense will drop off without Davante Adams, if the worst is yet to come with the Deshaun Watson mess, if the Bills could go 17-0, why the Falcons passed on Malik Willis in the draft, and if Belichick should get the benefit of the doubt over making Matt Patricia the OC.

John Middlekauff is back with another episode of 3 & Out, breaking down the biggest NFL headlines and looking ahead to one of the most anticipated matchups in college football.

John also takes a closer look at the New York Giants and whether the franchise should reconsider making major trades. With questions surrounding the team's direction, John discusses roster construction, the importance of building through the draft, and whether the Giants should prioritize long-term rebuilding over short-term moves.

On the college football side, John previews Miami vs. Notre Dame, breaking down the key matchups, players to watch, and what is at stake for both programs. Can Miami make a statement, or will Notre Dame come away with a huge win?
