John gives some big picture preseason and training camp thoughts, including how it shows football is the ultimate meritocracy. Then, he discusses Roger Goodell making the obvious decision to appeal Deshaun Watson’s 6-game suspension, why the Brady tampering punishment is just the latest black eye for Stephen Ross, and why Aaron Rodgers tripping his face off is the latest example of why he’s not wired like the G.O.A.T’s. He also talks training camp news, including Kyler home from Cardinals camp with COVID, Hollywood Brown’s speeding arrest, Mitch Trubisky trending towards terrible with the Steelers, why Jimmy G still makes sense, and why Matt Stafford’s tennis elbow could worse news than it sounds like.
