You guys got a no ball. It's all about running backs now. Ashton Genty is coming out at the perfect time when everyone's like, we need a running back, we need a Saquon Peter. I go to the Verbo Fiesta Bowl where your guy, Tyler Warren went against my guy, and I gotta say, Penn State did bottle him up. Gentsy had thirty carries. He finally got his numbers, but got If there is not a year when that type of back who does it all and breaks tackles and breakaway speed, if this guy does not become a successful back right out of the shoot, I'm thinking Clinton portis on the Denver Broncos right out of the MIAKEI Hurricanes rookie year, wearing a title belt on the sideline. I'm into it. Genty as my guy, love it. I think here in New York City, I think there's actually a feeling of relief, as strange as it might be. And I think some of the relief is that we did not sign Rogers, and I think there's a lot amongst the fan base that has that The paper here, is Russ here, and then Rogers making the sad face there. I have a lot of questions, though, like a lot. First of all, it's already decided. Is Russell Wilson going to be the starter? His contract has bigger money, so I guess there's that. Are we sure that Russell Wilson is better than Jamis? I'm not positive. I mean they went to head to head last year and Jamis beat him on a terrible Browns team. Why would they sign both of these guys and then draft a quarterback. I think it would be unconventional to have two Bridge guys and then for some reason they draft shad Is Shauduur just sit at three for the whole season. Unconventional is the word? Strange is another one. What does it mean for Rogers? It means he has one chair left if he started a quarterback in season twenty one? It's for the Steelers short of the Vikings making some crazy change. What does it mean for the Steelers? They have one viable option left and it's Rogers short of them starting the season with Mason Rudolph. My takeaway and my gut, I don't think the Giants are drafting a quarterback. I think this precludes that. I think even if Shaduur's there, I think they're going to pass on him. I think Rogers is going to be a Steeler. How did Giants fans feel today? I guess I think there's a little relief they didn't sign Rogers, which I never thought was gonna happen. I never thought they wanted to happen. And my last question is like, is this a good day? Is this good? I have no idea. I'm completely ross is on his third team in three years. The Steelers lost five games and the season last year, most of them by Dualtla double digits. Jamis is on his third team in three years. They have an adult in the room one and a half if you count Jamis. But do they have a great quarterback? No, it's to pour water on it. Even I don't know. I'm not celebrated. I mean they're vulnerable, like they to their own doing. They they got nothing. We're all saying the same thing. And I also say, if Rogers shows up and plays like he did last year on a five and twelve Jets team, He's the Steelers' best quarterback in five years. Like I think he wanted to be on the Rams. I think he was interested in the Vikings. And now it's like, all right, I'll guess I'll go to the Steelers and jump into that horrific division, and horrific in the sense that it's going to be really, really difficult. I'm also fascinated by what you said, Peter about all right, so he goes to the Steelers. How is this coming out? Win the national championship, you're there on the confetti and the podium and you're a hero. And then you fast forward to the combine and you're trending for all the wrong reasons and people are online saying worst combine workout of all time, that you cost yourself ten million dollars. I mean, he was everywhere if you might have seen it, and all of a sudden he is the butt of every single joke because of some clips of him throwing that admittedly did look bad and wasn't on the same page and was late, and it's just, oh, my god, is this guy going to get drafted? He just won the national title, go to the pro day. He throws it on nearly seventy times, two balls hit the ground, they're both on drops. He's in the comfort of his atmosphere and his receivers. He looks great. This is a guy who's six foot four, two hundred and thirty pounds. He's played on the highest stage, and he's actually one of the more interesting prospects if you look into the prognostications, because right now I think we're twenty eight days exactly from the draft. You have everything from saying, you know, plummeting down to the bottom of day three. Do you have some people who do this for a living who say he's going to shock everybody to be a second round pick. People have a lust for quarterbacks, especially big, really strong ones. So I don't know where he's going to go yet. I like that he had a little bit of redemption, which is a theme of today's show. I don't like to see any college dude coming out of college who's getting destroyed online for having the worst workout ever. It wasn't the worst workout ever. We don't even need to get into who's the worst workout ever. But he looked sharp, he looked the party, looked like a leader. He's got this stature and this presence of like a Philip Rivers. He's got the arm that's good enough, and I was happy for him. He goes day two great, he goes day three great. I like that he got it on his feet yesterday. They're like, we're gonna run back the Zeke rookie experience, but they're gonna have to fight for him. I think the Bears are really interesting him because you can don't have to do the math to see what Ben Johnson did in Detroit with the two running backs. I thought Brad Biggs the Tribune had a great, great observation. He goes, all right, Ben Johnson, they had sonic and they had knuckles in Detroit. He's like, this guy is sonic and knuckles. He don't need to guys. He does everything. And Ben Johnson loves running backs. That's great. The Bears are sitting there at ten. Don know if that's rich enough that's where we are with this guy's production, his talent, everything about it. It's all coming together. If it's not top five, it'll be six.
