Today’s Bible Verse: “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” — Isaiah 53:5

Isaiah 53:5 is one of the clearest prophetic pictures of the suffering Messiah. Long before the crucifixion of Jesus, this passage described a Savior who would bear the weight of human sin and brokenness. The suffering described here was not random—it was redemptive.
