Today's Bible Verse: "So Joshua ordered the officers of the people: 'Go through the camp and tell the people, “Get your provisions ready. Three days from now you will cross the Jordan here to go in and take possession of the land the Lord your God is giving you for your own.”' — Joshua 1:10–11

How do you take the first step when you don't feel ready? Joshua 1:10–11 reminds us that following God often means taking action before we feel completely prepared. Joshua instructed the Israelites to get ready to cross the Jordan and enter the Promised Land, trusting God's direction even though they couldn't see everything that was ahead.

What can the feeding of the 5,000 teach us about trusting God when our resources feel inadequate? Matthew 14:16 reveals that Jesus wasn't simply concerned with feeding a hungry crowd. He was teaching His disciples to trust Him when they couldn't see how a solution was possible. When faced with an overwhelming need and limited resources, Jesus told His disciples to step forward in faith.
