The Hawks went from 0-5 to reaching the semi-finals in 2024. The Hollywood Hawks, Hok-ball and the Tik-Tok Hawks all became nicknames synonymous with Sam Mitchell's side.

He has used the off-season to further develop the playing list and add in both Tom Barrass and Josh Battle, plus being seated next to Harley Reid at his newest recruits wedding late last week raised a few eyebrows around the league.
