Yoruba Language Program - 2026-10-11

What we’re all about:
The Yoruba language program is presented by Seyi and Kosh. It is an opportunity to dive into the joyous rhythm of Yorùbá culture every week on 4EB! Whether you're curious about the language, eager to reconnect with heritage, or simply love exploring new cultures, our program is your happy place.

Yoruba is a beautiful tonal language spoken by more than 50 million people worldwide, from the beautiful sandy beaches in Nigeria to Brazil, the USA and globally.

Connect with the language and culture behind Afrobeats.

Why tune in:

Learn with ease – From greetings to expressions, we make Yorùbá fun and conversational. Inspired

Culture meets vibe – We bring legends, proverbs, music, food, and laughter to the airwaves. Think jokes, beats, idioms, and stories that spark that “wow-erence!” (wow + experience).

A space for everyone – You’re part of this story—new to Yoruba? A heritage learner? A curious listener? You fit right in.

When & Where:
Tune in weekly at 8am on Sundays on Radio 4EB, 98.1FM in Brisbane and online.

Bring your voice:
Have a story, question, or your favourite Yoruba saying? We want to hear it! Drop us a line — your contribution could be featured on-air.

Let’s learn, laugh, and celebrate together. Welcome to your happy place!
