How do true believers demonstrate their love for Christ in their daily walk? In this episode of Yoke Breakers, Brother Willie James Gordon Jr. explores the foundational call to keep Jesus' commandments and live out genuine Christian love and forgiveness.

Examining key passages across the Old and New Testaments—including John, Leviticus, Romans, Ephesians, Matthew, and Proverbs—Brother Willie emphasizes that walking with God requires setting aside worldly titles, forsaking past sinful habits, and maintaining a steadfast commitment to prayer, fasting, and Scripture study.

Key Takeaways

Love as the Chief Commandment: Jesus commands His followers to love one another as He loved us, putting away hatred, malice, and vengeance (John 13:34–35, John 15:17).

Forgiveness and Non-Vengeance: Believers are instructed to leave vengeance to God, pray for enemies, and forgive others as God in Christ forgave us (Leviticus 19:18, Romans 12:19, Ephesians 4:31–32).

True Spiritual Family: According to Jesus, true spiritual kinship belongs to those who hear and do the will of God in Heaven (Matthew 12:46–50).

Living a Separated Life: True conversion means coming out from old worldly habits, putting on the "new creature" in Christ, and walking in continuous repentance (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Anchored in Wisdom and Prayer: Trusting God with all your heart, seeking His direction daily, and hiding His Word in your heart provides power over temptation and spiritual warfare (Proverbs 3:5–7, Proverbs 4:4–22).
