Lieutenant Colonel Phill Cochran spent more than two decades flying the

F-16 Fighting Falcon and training fighter pilots between 1990 and 2013. A

father of seven between the ages of 17 and 33, he also served for twenty-

three years as pastor of Covenant Grace Church in Perkins, Oklahoma

from 2002 to 2025.

In his new devotional entitled Lessons Learned at the Speed of Sound, he

brings those two worlds together, using 40 vivid realities of combat aviation

which powerfully illustrate the Christian life. Each chapter concludes with

four thought-provoking questions, a powerful quote from a Puritan

Founding Father, and a practical prayer.
