That single clip racked up 1.7 million views on TikTok and 60,000 on Instagram. He hadn't planned any of it. Then January came, and he just kept showing up.

Today, Hood Anchor is one of the most recognizable independent journalists in Atlanta. He's been featured in Atlanta Magazine, on 11Alive, WABE, 99X, and Axios. He shows up to crime scenes, fires, and community incidents across the city -- often before traditional news crews. His community trusts him because he's one of them. And when he gets something wrong, he owns it publicly. No fine print. No back page retraction.
