A tense, unexpectedly nude confrontation with Will Macon gives way to a satellite strike on Zoe, a trip to Hector Hammond's slaughterhouse, and a twist reveal that Hammond isn't the Manhunter after all. The episode ends with Hal leaping from a moving car the moment he realizes John suspected Zoe all along and said nothing. They close out with their top suspects for the real Manhunter — Zoe, Will Macon, and a dark-horse theory that Laura Linney's Guardian is one herself!
