MI Supreme Court ruling on minimum wage called "a disaster" for tipped workers

View descriptionShare

Currently, tipped workers in Michigan are allowed to be paid only $3.93 per hour, but that will soon change under a ruling by the Michigan Supreme Court

John Sellek, spokesperson for 'Save MI Tips' says severs and bartenders did not ask for a change to the state's medium wage law, and they don't want it.

Speaking with WWJ's Ryan Wrecker, Sellek explained why restaurant workers would want to be paid less.
