A Michigan appeals court has ruled a judge was wrong to dismiss a lawsuit against Southfield paramedics who attempted to resuscitate a 20-year-old Southfield woman and declared her dead in 2020. When funeral home workers opened her body bag to prepare to embalm her, according to her attorneys, they found her alive and gasping for air.
