An Oakland County judge will rule later this morning if a restraining order barring enforcement of Michigan's 1931 law banning abortion will continue while a lawsuit moves through the courts. According to the Grand Blanc Township Police Department, two cars were drag racing on northbound I-475, one of which took off when police tried to pull him over. Detroit Police are set to launch a Traffic Safety Blitz in the city.  Police say they will mobilize more than 40 officers to conduct traffic stops in response to an increase in traffic accidents and what they describe as quality of life complaints.
