The mission of the Lutz Children’s Museum shall be to provide a multi-faceted museum for children to explore culture, history, and the natural sciences through internal and external exhibits, programs, and experiences. The Lutz Children’s Museum is proud to be the home of the official Connecticut state groundhog. Crowds of dedicated fans gather at the museum each year on Groundhog Day to hear her prediction.
