Subject-4th Annual Center Streets Event in  West Hartford. Scott says the event is being held Sunday August 25th from 9 am until 1 pm. Four roads will be closed to traffic that form a perfect rectangular loop around the central business district. He says parts of Farmington Avenue, South Main Street, Memorial Road Extension and LaSalle Road will be closed to motor vehicles. People can ride a bicycle, scooter or walk down the streets during the event. It will also feature live music throughout and the Connecticut Cycling Advancement Program will be there to host a bike safety rodeo. Participating restaurants will offer brunch specials and free food surprises. Scott says over 2,000 people are expected and he encourages people of all ages to take part.
