AAA finds speeding, drinking and driving and distraction are the leading causes of fatal crashes involving teen drivers. Amy says AAA encourages parents to talk to their teens about risky behaviors and take the pledge not to be” intoxicated". Texting while driving is one of the most potentially hazardous behaviors for any driver, but teens in particular because they have not had much experience behind the wheel.
