USDA is predicting U.S. farmers to plant more soybeans and less corn acres in 2022. More insight from the National Agricultural Statistics Service Prospective Planting Report. 

With higher fertilizer cost, understanding the soil pH could play a valuable role for farmers. UW-Extension’s Nutrient and Pest Management program hosted a webinar series on optimizing nutrient management with outreach specialist Dr. Jamie Patton.

Peninsula Pride Farms, a farmer-led watershed group in Kewaunee and Southern Door counties, has equipment available for rent to members interested in adopting conservation practices.
