• 1942 Red Wings remain the only team to lose Stanley Cup Final after leading 3-0 as Florida beats Edmonton 2-1 in Game 7.  Despite loss, Edmonton's Connor McDavid wins Conn Smythe Trophy as Playoff MVP.
• Tigers fall to league best Phillies 8-1,  Tigers host Philadelphia again tonight at 6:40 from Comerica Park, 6:15 pregame on WSJM.
• White Sox held to 5 hits in 3-0 shutout loss to Dodgers.  LA at Sox at 8:10.
• Cubs blow 4-0 lead, as Giants win on bases loaded walk 5-4.  Cubs at Giants at 9:45.
• Northwestern U. breaks ground on new football stadium at the site of the old Ryan Field.   NU to play home games at Soccer/Lacrosse complex with added seats for the next two years.  Michigan is at NU in 2025.
