Dan Bernstein and Laurence Holmes opened their show by sharing their takeaways from the Bears' 21-17 win over Texans in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio on Thursday. The guys were then joined by Bears receiver Collin Johnson, to whom they presented their Ken Mastrole Award for his outstanding performance in the game. Johnson had three catches for 56 yards and two touchdowns. Johnson also explained why rookie quarterback Caleb Williams is a "freak of nature" and more. Later, Bernstein and Holmes discussed the Cubs' come-from-behind 5-4 victory over the Cardinals on Thursday, which was capped by outfielder Mike Tauchman's walk-off double. The guys then discussed the lowly White Sox as they ride a franchise-worst 17-game losing streak.
