Later, Bernstein and Holmes discussed the village of Bridgeview releasing a statement regarding the Chicago Red Stars being pushed out of SeatGeek Stadium by the music festival Riot Fest, which will take place Sept. 20-22. The village claims the Red Stars were informed of a possible Riot Fest conflict in April and “failed to respond” to written notice. The Red Stars are scheduled to have a nationally televised home match against the San Diego Wave on Sept. 21.
