South Bend Cubs pitching performance was praiseworthy and phenomenal this evening at Four Winds Field, they only gave one run and had 7 strikeouts through 10 innings of work. The Highlight of the night to defend great pitching pursuance was a Heroic and Hypnotic home run by Pedro Ramirez: Ramirez was down two strikes when he hit a walk off glad slam that scored Cristian Hernandez ( 2 out walk), David Avitia( 2 out walk), and Christian Olivo(runner on 2nd to start extra innings) in bottom of 10th to score the 4 to 1 win over Great Lakes Loons.
