Josephine Moon writes warmhearted contemporary mashups of uplit and foodie fiction: stories about life, love, careers, and food. Sometimes set in Australia, sometimes overseas and always with a great feel-good vibe, Jo's novels are published internationally and her collective sales are approaching a quarter of a million.

She describes her novels as books that are like chocolate brownies: rich, inviting, a treat for the soul, but with chunky nuts to chew on, and a dash of sea salt that lingers on the tongue.

On March 26th, 2021, Jo came out as autistic. It's an experience she describes in her podcast (Autist in Residence) as terrifying. The diagnosis has made a lot of sense of things that have happened in Jo's life and she's made it part of her mission to share her journey with the world in the hope of helping others.

In this episode she talks about how the diagnosis has impacted her writing and creative process, and how the coming out has affected her life.

Jo and Pam also chat  about her books, in particular her most recent release The Jam Queens.
