I strive to meet people where they’re at, and try understand their perspective, try to be open and curious and committed to learning always. I’m always working to be a better listener to understand where people are coming from. It’s a continuous learning journey and not a place I’ve arrived yet.
When you do listen deeply, when you do have compassion for others, and you have flexibility in your belief system that allows you to anchor to what’s most important but to be open to new perspectives, that serves people well, it’s certainly served me well.
