• We’re brought up in a certain paradigms, if I was born anywhere other than Australia I’d have different realities. The life we’re living now we think it’s reality, the perceptions and belief systems we have, but at some times in life we’re hit with something which makes us question our current reality. If we’re fortunate we have things that wake us up so we can advance or progress our life.
• I commuted hours each way during the week and when I had my kids I wouldn’t see them unless it was the middle of the night and they were having their feed or at the weekends. Is that life? Is that how life’s supposed to be? To go to work and pay the bills? When you question it you come into a new reality where I started my own business as an accountant. Different things have occurred since then that have seen my become a hypnotherapist, a coach, and someone who changes lives because of the things I been through, experienced and learned.
• Awareness precedes a change in behaviour, but is that awareness internal or external? You might wake up one morning and ask: “Is this all there is?” and then you start looking for the answers and you can use your conscious mind to make changes in your unconscious, because you’re deliberately doing it from awareness and experiences. Or, you could have something that changes your life that redirects you and you can grow and facilitate changes consciously.
• Some people would say that we are an expression of Source/Universe/God experiencing this reality so that the intangible can have a tangible experience. Is everything one and we’re part of an incredibly limitless One? We’re everything in our own body and yet we’re all one. It’s the type of question that could open an awareness and awakening to there is more than just this body; if I lose a finger or a leg I’m still Wayne, but who is Wayne?
